Aluminum Tube

Structural Strength

I construct my handles with a thin-walled 12mm ID aluminum tube inside. This keeps the weight of the handle down and ensures structural integrity. It also ensure that piece of the handle do not sheer off when dropped.

High Temperature Adhesive

500 degrees F

I use only the highest quality high temperature adhesive that is stable to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tang Hole

Hand Shaped

Each tang hole is meticulously shaped by hand using micro files to match each blade.

Sealing the Tang Hole

Color Match

I seal where the blade meets the handle with color matched epoxy to ensure a water tight connection that is also aesthetically pleasing.
